Happy new year! I'm back!

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

So last year I kind of went off the track. I needed a break. Not enough time, you know all the excuses. 2013 was not a good year for me. I lost 2 good friends, lost a nephew and lost my beloved furry son. I promised my self I would get back to sparking but I didn't know I would be gone for so long.

2014 is starting out to be a very good year? My husband and I retired today! January 14, 2014 will be the beginning of a new lifestyle. Our girls want us to move into a house and it will be rent free, all we have to worry about is paying the utilities! We are moving from Vegas to Buckeye, Arizona. I am moving to a town and house I have never seen. What an adventure! I am so ready for this! Buckeye is pretty small. I am going to have lots of time to focus on my diet and exercise. I am ready for a puppy that will go walking with me.

I discovered Daisy the wonder dog hates to walk! Also found out she is stone deaf. I plan on taking her around the block, but the puppy will be my main walking partner.

I am posting my weight for now: 167.5 lbs
I will post my weight every 14th day of the month and see how it goes as retired!

It is so much easier to create a healthy life style when you retire. I retired 6 months ago and it is SOOOOOOOO much easier. Good luck and I hope this year is much better than last.
I had a year like that about 20 years ago, my mother died on Christmas eve, my niece died on her birthday in March, my house burned down in May and a total stranger had a heart attack and died on my front lawn in June. I was really glad when that year was over.
