I was just thinking about how I've been trying to lose the last 10 lbs for like 6 months and how silly it is. It seems like every month I lose like 3 lbs, then I gain it back through like one out of control weekend, then I have to lose the 3 lbs again. So I think I could maybe just think of it instead like this: get super motivated to really really track calories every single day and not go over my limit for 2 months with the goal of losing 5 lbs each month. Then I can go back to maintenance mode which is pretty much where I've been the last 6 months or so. So it will just be a matter of sticking out no cheating for 2 months and I'll probably get the results I want. I really do eat great the majority of the time but it's just that odd day here or there where I totally screw up and the lbs all come back on again. Such a silly cycle! All that hard work that goes down the drain just for a little treat. Gotta somehow curb the motivation for the falling off the wagon due to the time of the month.
