Another picture post so soon, yes~

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

The first four pictures are purses my Mom made me. I designed them all. The first picture is my favourite since it is black and I wanted a ribbon purse for a long while! The second picture is of a clutch like purse but it has a ribbon handle. The third purse is blue and black camouflage. I had it made to match my cami jacket. The fourth purse is light purple with blue on the inside and that purse is reversible and can be used as a yarn project bag if one wanted, but I don't since sewing, knitting and I don't agree! The last bag of the kitty pattern is a drawstring bag that you can use for a small wallet and things of that nature, say if you don't want to carry a purse!

This is a Tom Bihn café bag, his company is in Seattle and the products are American made. A little more expensive but worth it because the quality is very top notch. I've met Tom at his shop when I lived in Seattle proper and he is fabulous. He has changed or remade bags and invented new products for customers. This café bag was about $50 for a medium size, very water proof and easy to clean. Can't say enough good things about the company. If you want to check out his products, Tom Bihn dot com, its easy to find~

I have a bag that looks like a suit case. My job as the Mom, wife, worker, student and jack of all trades requires me to carry a lot so I need a bag to suit the occasion. I ordered a Coach bag two years ago and plan to use it until it falls apart.

Thanks for sharing!! Compliments to your amazingly talented mother. I had a mom that was very skilled in fabricating anything you asked. She was a Depression era baby so they learned how to make a lot of items. My family is convinced she was the person who invented Macrame. We had plant hangers everywhere and now they are gone. Give Mom a bbbbbbiiiiigggg hug!

    Have a great day! emoticon

These are all cute. I need a new purse and haven't found what I liked yet or don't want to shell out the dough. Such is life. At the right time it will materialize.
