Here for a New Beginning...

Hi, everyone...
I've been gone for quite awhile. Last year I managed to lose 22 pounds along with a small group of women with similar goals. Unfortunately, I've since gained them back, giving in to all the goodies my husband unabashedly brings in by the armload! :(
Now I'm determined once again to reach a healthy weight! I do need ideas for how to overcome cravings...there's no way I can get them out of the house, so I need the strength and determination amidst them all!
If you pray, please remember me for this obstacle! I know it can be done...just haven't gotten there!

It's really hard to ignore foods in your home but prayer does help.

    that's a tough situation. if it's not in the house, you can't eat it, but if it's there, it calls to you. one thing i've done in the past is ask my hubby to hide things from me. fortunately, my hubby has decided if i don't eat it, he won't, so it's a lot simpler for me. maybe you could put a lock on a cabinet that you don't have key for? is that too extreme?
in any even, i am praying for ya! emoticon

    I will be praying for you. Remember to busy your hands instead of grabbing for the junk food. When I want to give in, I read, crochet or other things like cleaning or something, and I always have water to drink, it helps fill me up. Hugs!
