Don't know what I was thinking but I did it AGAIN, I've signed up for the Hippie Chick Half Marathon! Last year was my first year doing it and after an injury impacted my training I had to change to the quarter marathon at the last moment. I walked it, finished it and beat the time I had set for myself.
This year my sisters are doing it "with" me. My older sister, Nat-Again, lost 90 lbs and has been crazily, physically active for the past year. She ran a half-marathon that was on a trail with crazy steep hills. She's quite the inspiration! We are all at different levels so we'll be there supporting each other but won't be right next to one another.

I have a walking training plan that is a 12 week program, same one I used last year. So right now I have 5 weeks to focus on losing some weight and get back into the routine of walking before I get started.
Actually, thank goodness I signed up for this event. I think it will be the kick in the rear I need to get going again.
