I stayed well within my ranges this weekend. Still not managing to consume more than 1100 calories a day so I need to step that up. Planning is key until it becomes a habit again.
Today started out okay, mostly because I remembered to heat up a breakfast burrito before I left the house. I'm thinking I'm going to start doing some make ahead smoothies in the morning because I'm getting very sick of the plain yogurt and fresh fruit snacks. Today I literally had to force myself to eat the last four or five bites of my morning snack.
I pulled one of my frozen portions of bowtie pasta, kale, fennel and chick peas out for lunch today. That and a salad will make a good healthy lunch. I did forget my grilled chicken though. I'll make up for it tonight by eating chicken and beans for dinner.
I'll have a handful of almonds with my afternoon snack to get some more good fat. Tomorrow will be back to normal because I'll have fruits and veggies to snack on throughout the day. I still have some produce from last week but I'll have to pick through it to see what's still good etc.
I have my fitbit on and it's syncing with Spark. I ordered workout gear for the gym and the shoes and pants already came. I think the shirts will be here today. If so then I'll pack a gym bag and head to the gym after I get off work tomorrow night. I joined but haven't been going, mostly because I was self conscious about not having anything decent to wear. Most of my t shirts are too constrictive and my work out pants were either too big, too small or too worn out. So I ordered t shirts that will fit and pants that I'm comfortable in and decent running shoes that I will ONLY wear when I work out. I think a lot of it is psychological but I don't really care if it is or not if it works.
