Craziness

There has been so much going on here lately. I really don't know how much God thinks I can handle, but enough is enough!

Hubby is resisting my pleas to get him into the doctor's office. He needs a physical, to stop smoking, to lose weight, check cholesterol and sugar, you know the works! Plus, he's got the horrible cough that smokers have, but I think a lot worse.

Oldest daughter has been crazy! She's been mean to her sisters, was Baker Acted because she told someone she wanted to kill herself (she's been hanging with the "Emo" crowd, including a girl who had been BA four times last year), ran away with another friend to go to the christian teen center. Now, she has started going to church and is studying her notes pretty well, so hopefully this will help turn her around. I would like to have her get back into Girl Scouts, but she will not be in my troop. One of my co-leaders and her have had words a few times. That particular leader is a little, er, "tough" on the girls. Some of the girls have voiced their opinions about the leader being tough on them, and this will be handled very soon (I just have no idea how to approach her with this!)

Middle daughter is getting a bit of an attitude. Her older sister has pushed her around for so long that she is now starting to push her younger sister around. This has to be nipped in the butt very soon!

Youngest daughter is her normal spit-fire self. Her and her middle sister have going to church for the past few months on Wednesdays and recently started going on some Sundays. They are both still active in Girl Scouts, though the youngest one wants me to be her leader/she thinks she is in my troop and her troop! Oh, no, Mommy is too busy to have three troops, it's bad enough I have two! Plus, her troop leader wants me to plan their camp out. Ugh, I know she has a lot on her plate, but she has two co-leaders who can help. She has two troops, a full time job, yada yada yada, plus she is our Service Unit Manager, but still! Oh, well, I will do my Mommy duties and help out with this. Besides, I kinda like planning and executing camp outs :-)

Speaking of camping, I have to get to planning our next camp out. I have suggestions from the girls for foods and all, I just have to make sure it is feasible. It is at the end of January, hopefully it won't be too hot here.

Sounds like you are super busy and dealing with a lot of challenges at home. I hope things are resolved soon in a good way.
