The New Normal

Monday, January 13, 2014

So, tomorrow will be a week of "back in the saddle" for me. I've done pretty well staying in my calorie range, and tracking has helped me to see that I need to cut back on the fat content in my diet - even though they are mostly healthy fats. I'm doing awesome with my water - something I've always struggled with! Drinking so much water has helped me to cut out the 5-6 cups of coffee I was drinking every day, down to 1-2. The weight loss is not happening as quickly as I'd like -- but I really need to keep reminding myself that I'm making changes - slowly - that will contribute to a healthy body for a long time to come! Slow and Steady wins the race!!! emoticon

Also adding my "Before" picture now -- I think this shirt is an XXL and I couldn't button it over the girls!

Congrats! I think drinking enough water is a serious "lifestyle change" for a lot of people, but it's one that can have a huge impact. But be warned - it's addictive! Once you get used to being properly hydrated, not drinking enough water will probably make you very cranky ;)
