New mini goal set

Hello everyone!:)
Today was the last day of break before classes start back up tomorrow! And actually im really excited to go back tomorrow! Ready to get back in the swing of things! I feel so lazy when I have nothing to do all day!

Starting this coming week I am actually going to start working out! My aunt that just lives a couple miles away just got the total gym and said I can start using it! And I'm going to TRY to walk 4 days a week!

I did set a new mini goal for myself today! I got asked to go to a Luke Bryan concert on February 6th and of course I said yes! I absolutely admire/love him! God the things that I would do to that man emoticon emoticon
lol ANYWAYS, my new mini goal will be to weigh in between 170-175! I haven't weighed in a few days so I think I might be at 182 or so?

Here's what I ate today!
BREAKFAST:
-Bowl of fiber one cereal
-Handful of grapes

LUNCH:
-Apple with peanut butter
-Half of a ham sandwich

DINNER:
-Lean cuisine flat bread pizza
-Banana

SNACK:
-Special K bar

DRINKS:
-Only water!

I did change up my eating today quite a bit! I actually had cereal which I never really have. And added a small sandwich for lunch! A comment that was left on my blog a couple days ago really opened my eyes about eating and how much I should be eating! I did finally realize I wasn't eating enough! And that person was right! I really wasn't hungry at all today between meals! I'm use to eating the same stuff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I guess I'm just scared to eat more because I think the weight wont come off! Well its time for me to stop thinking like that. I'm finally realizing that losing a significant amount of weight wont happen over night or in a weeks time span, it takes a time(sometimes a little, sometimes a lot) and there is no need for me to starve myself! I forget im on my feet a lot at work so I am burning some calories there. So on that note I am going to try to consume a little bit more calories, with my apple for lunch I will throw in a sandwich or a soup and change up my breakfast a little more!

How many calories do you guys try to eat daily?

    Congrats on setting a new goal! I agree that you have to make sure you eat enough calories to support your body. Sparkpeople first set my calorie range at 1,200 to 1,550 calories and I just stick to that. Good luck with your newest goal!
