5 days of the 30 Day Shred- DONE! + Feeling Good

Yesterday I finished day 5 of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It's amazing how fast the body adjusts to exercise. It clearly wants to be in shape. It's a lot easier to get through than on that first day. I'm glad I kept pushing through. I'm taking a rest day today, and then heading back in for the last 5 days of level one tomorrow. I'm going to pick up a few light weights today for tomorrow, as I haven't been weighting down my exercises. I think modifying it that much kept me from injury, but I need more of a challenge now.
Tomorrow is my weigh in day. I'm a bit nervous. I don't know why. I just want to see a good result from my hard work.
I need to buy a new yoga DVD too. I'm definitely bored with the morning routine I currently have. The relaxing evening routine is still good though- fancy that! I don't do it nearly as often though because my roommate is typically watching TV in the living room at night. Oh well! I do it when I can.
Diet has been pretty good this week. I did buy a dark chocolate bar, and I've been having a few squares in the evening. It keeps me pretty satiated for sweets though. Yesterday, it was the assistant manager's birthday, so our manager brought a carrot cake for her. She cut everyone a piece. Since there was only 4 of us, I couldn't really object. I just made sure I grabbed the smallest piece, enjoyed it, and was thankful I got up early enough to get my workout in.
Well that's pretty much it for me. I'm going to use today to focus on more of my new years resolutions today. Hope everyone else is feeling positive and on track too!
