Week One under my belt and I lost 3.7 pounds! I worked out 3 times this week as I'm trying to get into the swing of things. (Slim in 6 Start It Up). I purchased a Walk Away the Pounds DVD and I want to try it this week, and continue with Slim in 6.
Following Atkins during the Induction phase is no joke. You have to be very disciplined and avoid the carbs and sugars. I struggled quite a bit during some days and I gave in to a granola bar craving twice. Better than giving up! So I found I spent a lot of time preparing each meal and snack. I did use some Atkins bars and shakes when I didn't have time. I also had a few of their frozen meals, although I will most likely avoid those in the future due to the high sodium and fat content. I felt better eating fresher foods (veggies) and meat.
So on to Week 2 of Induction!
