Struggling

Sunday, January 12, 2014

I'm having a rough time getting back on track after the holidays. This upcoming week will be the first full week of the new year -- so being in my "normal" routine should help a bit.

I'm commiting to:
Drinking 12 glasses of water / day
WATP - 3 times / week
Portion control

Is anyone else struggling? If so, what are you doing to overcome that obstacle?

The last blog you wrote was back in Jan. Are you still struggling? What can we help you with?

I use the fitness tracker every time I exercise. I also use the nutrition tracker and the water tracker. I blog everyday too.
Malia has asked us several times to get to know the people on our team so I have friended you. I'm looking forward to reading more of your blogs.

You're not alone! It's been so hard to get back into the groove. Baby steps! And don't stress! Take it a day at a time. You're awesome... and its hard to find that balance with babies in tow.

The trick for me to get in all my water is to drink it in the first half of the day (if possible). I'm slowly fazing out diet soda (not healthy stuff!) and substituting water. Goals turn into habits. It takes work to get into the groove but you'll get there. emoticon

I have had my struggles myself with getting back on track. I noticed if I fill up on veggies, fruit and water keeps me full. I also try to get myself busy. When Im busy I attend to eat less. Somedays are easier than others. But its all about taking 1 day at a time! emoticon

I am having a problem finding my workout groove. Eating is under control, I just can't find a groove for my workout. Hoping to find it this week. Starting tomorrow. No snow days this week which means no almost 3 year old distraction. LOL. I love it when he walks with me but I spend more time making sure I am nit going to walk into him than the actual walk!!

Hugs to you Mel, you will find it!!

Its hard after the holidays, I still don't have my eating in order but Im trying to exercise to compensate. That is just holding me steady going to tackle portions next. Just commit to one thing at a time Emme, you can do it.

I feel the same way! Now that ALL the Christmas stuff is packed away & out of the house, we will be getting back to GOOD HABITS!

GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY! May we ALL have a SUCCESSFUL JOURNEY in 2014! emoticon emoticon

I am sorry you are struggling. It is hard to get back on track after the holdiays. I decided I needed to be more strict yesterday. I was going to get back on track by getting all the junk out of my body. I wasn't going to let anything get in my way. That didn't happen....

Today is another day. We start fresh today.

I am trying to focus on one thing to accomplish. For me that is getting a lot of fruits and vegetables in. If I want something unhealthy I tell myself that I have to eat my fruit or veggie first. Good luck - I know you can get the train back on the track
