Week 1 - New Year, New Me

Current Weight -202.4

Monday, Jan. 6 - 15 Jumping Jacks
Tuesday, Jan. 7 - walked up and down 1 flight of stairs
Wednesday, Jan. 8 - 20 Jumping Jacks
Thursday, Jan. 9 - walked up and down 1 fight of stairs
Friday, Jan. 10 - 20 Jumping Jacks
Saturday, Jan. 11 - Rest Day

I just stuck to 2 main exercises this week. On Tuesday, I realized the reason my right leg was stiff and sore and wouldn't move past 15 jumping jacks was I needed more Potassium. So on Wednesday, I started eating bananas. I chose bananas because it worked for me in the past. I know it's probably all in my head, but other fruits just don't work. But I will incorporate other fruits in my daily snack routine. It also means I need to be more active. As my doctor would say, "exercise, exercise". I lost .6 lbs.

On to week 2 where I hope to lose more. emoticon

    Congratulations on the weight loss!!

It's awesome that you didn't allow any pain or stiffness to get in the way of your determination. It is even more admirable that you adjusted your schedule in order to accommodate the stiffness. It is definitely not good to push through pain and ignore your body's warnings! Kudos!

You will definitely lose more weight as you continue to eat healthier and be active!! Can't wait to see your results!

    I enjoyed reading about your commitment to your New Year New Me goals. Good for you! I'm not sure if I could do one jumping jack ~ I don't have much jump in me on land ~ much better in water ~ which means, I'd better get myself back to doing my water aerobics and walking!
