Saturday morning long run

I thought for sure I was going to be able to make it 12 miles today. I felt really good during the first 8 miles. It was downhill after that. 4 major mistakes of why I think I didn't make it:

1) Not enough rest. I couldn't go to sleep for anything. Finally asleep by 2am then up at 7:15.

2) Started P90X3 this week and my calorie intake is not enough to fuel my body for the long run.

3) Did a 5 mile run on the treadmill Thursday evening. Then Friday's P90X3 was a cardio/strength workout.

4) Not enough electrolytes leading up to the run.

I don't doubt that I can't do the 1/2 marathon. I just need to make sure I have these things corrected during the week before race day.

    It does sound like any one of those reasons, but especially all of them together could be a problem.
    Did you just run out of energy at 11 miles?
    Do you eat anything during your run?
