The Season Of A Healthy Me (AKA The Winter 5% Challenge) Part 2

I believe my diet and exercise plans have not worked in the past because I let other people talk me out of it. Now, please don't get me wrong I AM responsible for what I put in my mouth and planting my butt on the couch but I allow myself to be swayed by my husbands wanting to go out for dinner or him complaining that I never spend time with him ....it is the same with my daughter when she is home. I will continue to go out for dinner with my husband but I will make healthier choices from the menu. I will try to talk my hubby into an after dinner walk or I will schedule my exercise earlier or later depending on his schedule. The most important thing I will do is remember that I am responsible for the decisions I make.... it is my health to take care of. This means I will watch what types of food I eat and to make sure I do intentional exercise. I am not waiting for the Winter 5% Challenge to begin to begin my healthy journey. I am getting in a minimum of 10,000 steps a day and getting back onto my stationary bike. I have removed all junk food from my house. I am ready to start this challenge and to support my team mates!!! Let's all get healthy!!!!!!!!!!

    You are READY girl! And I'm ready too! Finally wrapped up the last of the birthday celebrations tonight and ready to get on board with my Speed up your Metabolism Diet Monday. I'll get the necessary foods tomorrow and then I'll be all aboard for the Monday start date. I'll let you know how it goes...it sounds good in theory but as we all know the day to day reality is the actual tests.

    You are right. We are the ultimate decision maker as far as how we look after our own bodies. We just have to figure out how to make it work for us. You are definitely making us think about how we are going to do it. Way to go girl!!!
