I believe my diet and exercise plans have not worked in the past because I let other people talk me out of it. Now, please don't get me wrong I AM responsible for what I put in my mouth and planting my butt on the couch but I allow myself to be swayed by my husbands wanting to go out for dinner or him complaining that I never spend time with him ....it is the same with my daughter when she is home. I will continue to go out for dinner with my husband but I will make healthier choices from the menu. I will try to talk my hubby into an after dinner walk or I will schedule my exercise earlier or later depending on his schedule. The most important thing I will do is remember that I am responsible for the decisions I make.... it is my health to take care of. This means I will watch what types of food I eat and to make sure I do intentional exercise. I am not waiting for the Winter 5% Challenge to begin to begin my healthy journey. I am getting in a minimum of 10,000 steps a day and getting back onto my stationary bike. I have removed all junk food from my house. I am ready to start this challenge and to support my team mates!!! Let's all get healthy!!!!!!!!!!
