More Progress

Friday, January 10, 2014

The weight is continuing to drop - another 1/2 lb. today. My body has held the weight for so long due to the soy allergy I've had for so many years and didn't realize. Now that that irritant is gone out of my body, it is releasing the weight, slowly but surely - the best way to lose. I feel better and even my mind is clearing up. I had a hard time remembering things, and now I notice that the memory is sharper. I've always been good at remembering numbers, but lately, I would have to keep going back and forth if I was using numbers in correspondence. But today, I was able to remember a very long shipping number in a note re a problem I was having. I can feel the loss in my hands and today, even in my body. I had to walk from the back of a big parking lot to go to the lab for a blood test yesterday. Normally, it is all I can do to get up there even if I park close, but yesterday, it was a nice stroll back and forth. Time to start walking for exercise and see how I do. I am so thrilled that at 77 yeas young, I am getting rejuvenated and feel great again. I might even see if I can start ushering at a local theater again if I find I can run up and down the aisles. That would be a lot of fun. I used to do it for several years and had a great time. Hard to believe that a food allergy almost totally shut down my life for all these years.
