100 Days of Weight Loss Day 9 is "Here's What I Want."
Day 9 is basically a continuation of day 8 so I am not going to reiterate too much, but there are a few Quiz questions we are to answer and decide what we need from others on the weight loss journey!
There are 5 questions on the Quiz that deal with specific situations about if your support people see you eating food that isn't on your diet plan; making progress seen and unseen and maintaining weight!
-After completing the quiz, read the answers aloud to one of your support people, such as a spouse or best friend!
-Post your answers on your fridge or some other location where your support people can be reminded of what you want!
-Write the most important answers in your journal for your future reference.
The Writing Diet's Topics are "Clothing" and "Mirrors" I have 4 days to go on this book I'm totally gleeful about it :)~
In terms of Clothing the gist of it is that being overweight we wear unflattering clothing for our size. It reinforces to the world that we neither respect ourselves or deserve respect by our appearance. We wear bags in darker colours for the most part. Our clothes are not tailored to emphasize our best features either. We need to embrace our feminine side and start to love ourselves. Change begins on an interior level and as we work on ourselves, we begin to make different choices.
The exercise is to journal about and go through your closet and see if you have clothing that can be brought into service while you are losing weight.
In terms of mirrors, when we are overweight or obese we see ourselves as scary, grotesque, ugly, less than what we are. Some mirrors emphasize our bad points and we should find a mirror that when we look into it we like what we see.
The exercise is to go from mirror to mirror in your house and journal about what you see in each. If there are mirrors where you don't care for what you see get rid of them.
Active Minutes 96
No videos today just walking, no pressure beyond that. I am trying to go easier this week on my body since it feels like I was doing too much high impact moves for my body. No injuries but I am a little sore beyond what I can tolerate and Paolo said knock it off then since you feel like you are getting run down. Advice taken from the SO, and I am going to see if I can do some cardio but not feel as run down after the fact. Its a wise thing to do since I have to be more careful than most with my body.
I think cardio videos 4 times a week is fine and not every day!
It felt pretty cold here today and it was hard for me to warm up honestly until I took a nice hotter than usual shower. I lotioned up good though just so my skin doesn't dry out and I look like a giant flake. I slightly went over what I like to do for my calories so I had a lighter dinner and I felt good about that idea. I wasn't hungry for dinner really but I figured better to eat a little something rather than get into deeply hungry mode at 11pm at night!
I'm going to cut it short tonight since I am working on some writing and when I do that I am not so chatty but I'll check back in tomorrow, of course! Be well tonight, Happy Friday & my Blue Bloods comes back, big hooray there~
