Well days 4-5 were good. That's because they didn't include the dreaded yoga! Day four was Kenpo, and I had a good feeling that I would like it. I have done Turbo Fire and Tae-Bo in the past, and I definitely have a liking for cardio kickboxing. Kenpo X was no different. It was really enjoyable and challenging. The only issue I had was learning the blocks. The last sequence with them is pretty complicated. If I can get through Turbo Fire's insane choreography, I know I can do this!
Legs and back was surprisingly fun! Killer on my legs. I was super wobbley walking down the steps. Once again, never knew there were so many variations of squats and lunges.
Yoga X, Yoga X, Yoga X....UGHHHHHHH, Planks, upward dogs, chattarangas, my arms killed me. I only got through the first 30 minutes. It was mainly mind over matter. I was pretty frustrated. I think I definitely underestimated the power of Yoga X. I surrender, next time I will make it to at least 60 minutes.
