Extended Christmas break

Thursday, January 09, 2014

Good day all!!

I have had a 3 week Christmas break!! WooHoo!! Well, I know we will make up the days at the end of the school year. I will think of it as more money closer to summer!!
Hubby has been off of work too. Too dangerous for him to drive a truck at the quarry he works for. So with him off exercise has been a challenge. He either hogs the tv in the living room or mocks me and makes me laugh so I can't put my all into it. So I've been doing some activity when I can, counter pushups, jumping jacks, march in place and using hand weight. It may not be what I really want to do but at least I'm doing something!!
Hope everyone is staying warm and safe!! Happy Sparking!!

I had three weeks off also was doing a lot of walking outside with the dog but have been missing it with all the ice lately.I have a small computer room where I go and close and lock the door to work out . Good for you for doing what you can with what you got . you don't always need weights or a gym isometrics exercises are great. hugs

All the towns around us too have been off since December 20th. Luckily Max isn't in school yet so he has been staying home with me when the roads are too bad to drive.

At least you have bonding time with hubby!!

Every little bit helps! Thank goodness this season won't last forever.

Oh I completely get it. I have the hardest time getting through exercise with hubby off. Lately, I send him to the garage for some project that I think will last long enough ...doesn't always work, but...
Hang in there and enjoy your break!

It isn't easy when we are cooped up in the house. But you are still pushing.

At least you are compensating as best you can. It might not be what you want to do but at least you are doing something. I know how you feel about doing exercise in front of someone, I won't do that either. Keep up the good work that you have started and slowly you will get there, just emoticon emoticon
