I haven't been stretching my feet or sleeping in the brace like I'm supposed to, because... I suck. My heel didn't hurt any more, and so I got lax about doing what I need to do. And now it hurts. Actually my arches have been a little sore most of the week, but I chalked that up the extremely cold temperatures.
Last night I tried out the exercise game my husband got me for Christmas. It's the Gold's Gym Dance workout for the wii. It has potential, but I had issues getting it all setup (wii was unplugged, then the batteries for both remotes were dead) so by the time I finally got it working I was kind of over it, ya know? I played for about fifteen minutes, and I wasn't sweating but my heart rate was definitely up. But, then my right heel started hurting, so I called it a night.
But did I stretch after my shower, or put my brace on? No. So of course it hurts today. It's not sharp stabby pain, but more of a dull nagging ache.
I was thinking about trying day one of C25K at the gym tonight, but now I think that might not be a good idea, because I don't want to make it worse. I guess I'll see how my foot feels later when I get there.
