I love this slogan because it reminds me that I need to have plans. Yes, life happens, but that is why I am also learning to have back up plans. You always put a humourous spin on things which is how we should keep this, I think. Thank you for posting. 1018 days ago
This is a popular slogan. But sometimes planning is not possible. Sometimes you can't have all bases covered. There are many, many reasons why someone does not have a plan made. It's not an intentional choice because someone has thought it through and wants to be a failure.
I don't like to be told I am PLANNING to fail if I am unable to have a plan in place. I do NOT plan to fail!!
I went through this years ago with a toxic therapist who blamed me and blamed me and blamed me and told me that whenever anything bad happened I'd planned it and chosen it. That toxic therapy did permanent damage to me and my feelings about myself. After all these years I'm still struggling with that message. I don't know if I'll ever get over that.
I am struggling with a handicap and I'm NOT planning to screw up! Please give this slogan more thought. It's abusive and invalidating. Cute, catchy slogans have a way of stopping deeper and more careful thought.
I have real issues with this slogan. It's pushing my buttons, HARD. 1018 days ago
