My littlest has certainly learned how to look after me already and make sure I do things just right. Every time I have to go out to put wood in our "beastie", when he's awake, he makes sure I put my coat, boots, gloves and anything necessary on I need to stay warm. He will hand them to me or to anyone else who is heading out because its the way I make sure he gets dressed up in this nasty weather. He's so sweet and cute about it. We have a set routine we follow and if things aren't just so, he certainly let's me know right away. We were up at my inlaws this afternoon and my mil was amazed at the "conversation" we were having between he and I. Even though it was one or 2 simple words I knew what he was saying and meaning and he knew what I was saying as well. I had to make sure my Jeep started this morning so I told him id be right back and I had to start my "eep" as he calls it, at my mils, he would say "tart" for start, "eep" and we understood so well that yes the jeep started and was ok. He's so funny with his expressions as well. When he thinks something is silly, he just moves his head while he talks as if to say oh my goodness how silly! He really is an amazing child. I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom either, all 3 have always been like that. Not sure I understand it, only that I've never talked down to them or baby talked with them. I've always talked to them like they were my equal and maybe that's why. Don't know for sure really...anyway, thought id share my good news for a change....even though its been a very rough and lonely week. Have a good one!
