So I've officially started training for a full marathon. It is an 18 week plan and I would really really like to lose some weight at the same time!
Is that possible?
I'm burning some serious calories on long runs.. as well as mid-distance runs during the week.
I'm aiming to have a larger breakfast and a protein/carb post workout snack to help fuel my workouts and recovery and keep dinner on the smaller side.
What do you think?
Is it possible to train for an event and lose weight?
I figured during the first 8 weeks as I'm slowly building my running base, it shouldn't be too taxing on the system to watch calories.
Well, here is to a new year and finding what works!
Now if only my husband would stop baking sweets! and if only I could have the will power to not even taste them! ;)
