UPDATE on me

Wednesday, January 08, 2014

Laughing here, yes I am home and thank you to each of you who took the time
to read my blog and say a prayer....I did very well if you discount the swollen
lip that I evidently bit, and the sore throat from the intubation....seems to me
that causes more trouble than

Anyway, I staggered in and got on my scale this morning, and alas/alack, I did
not lose 5 lbs....after yesterday, I would have thought that would have been the
case....all the hurling and no BP did spike on me last night and I
had to take a 1/2 tablet to bring it down....David must have checked it 5 times
while I was trying to get to sleep....when it started going down, he relaxed....

At any rate, I am home and seem to be fine except for a wee bit of soreness.

Talk to ya'll soon, blessings on each of you my friends,

Surgery can cause temporary swelling that probably contributed to your reading on the scale. It will go away.

I'm glad you made it though everything okay. We have a lot of nerves in our lips and they clamp the tube to it so that's why we feel so much there right after surgery. It's wierd. I have very major and extensive surgery several years ago and the thing I noticed hurting first when I woke up was my lip from the intubation. That all changed quickly as the pain killers wore off.
