It was a good idea to join the swim team. Five days a week for four months I would be in the pool. I did stair exercises at 5am then I was in the pool at 6. I was terrible at it, but it did make me feel a calm sleepy peaceful feeling all day. There was a sense of achievement because im not a natural athlete. It hurt because i wasn't fast. Thats why it didnt last. I couldn't compete--if it was just fun I would have done it forever.
