Taking steps in the right direction

We are one week into the New Year and I'm feeling pretty good about the steps I've taken toward my goals so far. I didn't expect to hit everyone on the head on day 1, but I am meeting some of my goals already, and taking steps in the right direction with others.
Right now I am on day 4 of my juice fast. I'm feeling absolutely euphoric. I feel energetic, positive, happy, light. Just so good. My first few days I felt more tired and craved food like crazy, but this time I didn't get sick like before. The last few times I fasted, I got a killer headache on the 2nd day. By some miracle that didn't happen this time. I've lost 5 pounds...not as much as last time, but I'm totally ok with that. I'm doing this to get control of my junk food cravings and detox more than for weight loss. The weight loss will come once I gain better control of my food choices.
I deleted facebook from my phone: It has been incredibly freeing. There have been moments when I reach to check it and then remember that it's not there, but then I always find something better to do with my time. I make eye contact with one of my children and have a conversation with them, or read a professional journal article, talk to and get to know my coworkers at lunch...it's been good.
TV: I don't watch it on work nights, but I still watch it on nights I don't work, and I'm ok with that for now as long as I'm in bed at a reasonable hour.
Bedtime: Why oh why is it so hard for me to go to bed at 10:00. I wake up at 5:30 on workdays, and still here I still blogging at 10:05. After I write this I am seriously going straight to bed.
My gym has been closed due to weather, but I've been very active with the kids around the house and at work. I get back to my regular workout routine on Friday.
Well, that's an update on some of it. :) I'm doing ok. I'm content.
