@(. I .)@ (Feeling upside down)

Tuesday, January 07, 2014

Hello great SP community.

today another day whereby I am still under the weather, and feel upside down, strange comment I know but that is how I am feeling, no I have not done a yoga head stand, but feeling every time I take one step forward, I end back two steps behind with my health. Everything I am trying to do, is taking twice the time, as being physically tired. Does anyone feel the same? Surely I should be shaking this cold by now?

Just going to work is taking all my energy, as I have need to walk to different centres, carrying my heavy bags, walking up and down steps that when I get home I am tired. The question of shall I do just 10 minutes keeps coming up in my mind? Will my mind or body win?

I apologise for my ramblings, and if I have not made myself clear. Not to bore you further
I will wish you all a good day, evening or night!

Keep pushing forward and although I am a snail at the moment I am cheering you all along to reach your goals

Creepy crud is when you have the flu, a cough, a cold everything all at once! Its not pleasant at all! I don't want to burn out by February taking on too many tasks all at once is what I meant by that. I wouldn't exercise for 100 days straight no. I do 5 heavy exercise days a week and take 2 rest days because I would get worn out if I did so much. I have to be careful because I am pretty strong but I have to be more careful than most because of my previous health issues with my bones and joints~

Hopefully you will get to feeling better soon, I know over here there are some getting sick with creepy crud I don't want that so no one is allowed within 10 feet of me practically. Oh I'm getting along pretty good, slowing down a little so I don't burn out in February!

sounds like you're really sick ... and therefore really tired. Maybe use some of the down time to clarify your vision for how you want to be when you're feeling better - or maybe watch some inspiring movies? Make the best of it regardless and let yourself heal. It's okay.

At this point I would see a doctor. You won't hear me say that often. I think there is something more going on here.

It's ok to be upside down-it happens. I had a cold in Nov that lasted 4 weeks the viruses are tough this winter!! I know what you mean about the 10 minutes to exercise my mind wants to but my body doesn't want to but I am trying to push forward. Know that your not alone. Keep up the good work and you can do it!!!

How very coincidental! I just told a sales clerk that I was feeling upside down this morning, so I think I know what you mean. Remember: this, too, shall pass. I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Oh honey...I just got over being sick for over a month with flu and sinus infection. I deal with fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, failed back syndrome, graves disease and like you say....one step forward 2 steps back. It gets tough dealing with health issues day after day. give yourself time to heal and remember to treat yourself really well.
Hugs,
sarah

Take a moment and breathe. Time will heal you but stress will kill you, your will and your desire. This journey of living better and changing will take time. Take baby steps, right now, it might not be exercise, it might be food, or it might be rest. As you accomplish one, then the other will follow. It appears to me now rest is what is needed to strengthen, and then pick one thing to work on, right now.

Hate to tell you but this is the 4th week I have had my virus. Whilst I am a lot better than I was, by the evening I am shattered and sleeping solidly at night, struggling to get up in the mornings.
I've tried doing some Leslie miles and have been in a terrible state after 3 miles. Normally I can do 5 miles quite easily!
Just continue to listen to your body. Do what you are able to without setting yourself further back.
Have a restful evening poppet.

emoticon you'll get better soon, just take your time and heal. What are you eating? If you don't mind me asking. When I'm sick I stay in the bed until I feel up to doing a little house work. When I'm sick I'm down for at least a week. I have a voice my kids loves during the time of my sickness because I sound like Daffy Duck. My husband tells me save my voice until it comes back, and then when it does I sound like Minnie Mouse. It's funny... But when my voice comes back fully that's when I know I'm getting better. So take this time to read, spend some time reading and creating a plan to tackle this weight once your body return. The last time I was sick my husband had to stop me from doing sit ups in bed, leg lifts any exercises in the bed. I was not healing I was adding more stress on my body with trying to get in 10 minutes of movement. emoticon

Despite how we feel better, our bodies let us know there needs to be more healing time.

But your just getting better from being under the weather - its takes time to heal- I am not leaving Spark - the point is that I would rather spend my time my friends reading blogs than writing one - so I can be supportive and still work towards my goal - Hugs K
