I was very successful at losing weight a few years ago by tracking my food and exercising every day. My NY resolution was to exercise at least 6 days a week for a minimum of 30 minutes and track all my food on paper since my old computer is a bit balky on Spark. I have been doing that actually since just before the new year and it is working! I am already down over 5 pounds which is something I have not been able to accomplish for the last year and a half. My third resolution was to eat only at the table but since it is super cold (-26 yesterday) and my DH spends the day in the kitchen with his hunting dogs who are excellent at pointing a plate of food, I have given up on that until it is warm enough that they can spend their days out in the kennel runs. There is nothing like trying to drink a cup of hot coffee with a Gordon Setter nudging your elbow!
I have not been able to get to Curves for over a week because of the cold, but I did dust off the Wii and have been using Wii Fit and Walk It Out. I made a trip to town yesterday because I had an appointment at the clinic and didn't get my Wii done, but managed a few laps around Walmart. Since it is the first day I didn't actually do regular exercise I didn't make myself feel guilty about it.
