Wow I feel like I am so struggling at the moment! So much so that I have decided to rejoin Weightwatchers so I can go to the meetings and have face to face accountability.
Donít know why Iím struggling. Possibly because I haven't got my walking in cos of all the rain and therefore my weight has stopped going down... Might also be because Iím going to MILs for the weekend. I feel like I just need to hang in there. Maybe stop planning and monitoring and just go back to 3 meals a day with no snacks, to give myself a break. Then go for it when I come back with re-joining ww for the Tuesday 14th morning meeting, and of course BLC24 starts on Wednesday 15th.
I wonder if it is possible for me to stick to a diet and exercise plan for 12 whole weeks in a row? I guess it must be Ė after all I have just lost at least a pound a week for 8 weeks in a rowÖ.
My 12 week plan for
Mon 13th Jan to Thurs 10th April 2014 inclusive
Except 4 days away in March when Iíll eat 3 meals a day with no snacks.
Goal is to lose at least one pound every week for at least 11 out of those 12 weeks
Weightwatchers meeting every Tuesday morning
keep within daily points plus activity points
use weekly points for a weekly treat meal or donít use them at all
No honey once Iíve finished the jar in the cupboard
No custard unless part of weekly treat meal
(Giving up these two things will make it so much easier to stay within my points)
A pint of water half hour before breakfast/lunch/dinner, and one mid-morning or mid afternoon
Mon Callanetics ď10 years younger in 10 hoursĒ DVD, and a 10 to 25 minute walk
Tues Walk home from WW meeting (about 45 minutes)
Wed Callanetics ď10 yy in 10 hrsĒ DVD, and a 50 minute walk from voluntary work
Thurs Do a virtual spark walk race either 5k or 10k
Fri Callanetics ď10 years younger in 10 hoursĒ DVD, and a 10 to 25 minute walk
Sat Walk 20 mins minimum, preferably 50 mins or even longer
Sun Walk 20 mins minimum, preferably 50 mins or even longer
Thatís my plan. Iíll put it on my page, and Iíll write it in my book!
Fail to plan, plan to fail!
Beck Day 42
Beck Day 42 is the last day of the course and is pretty much an encouragement to keep on keeping on. There are still two more chapters to go though that look very interesting!
Beginners Callanetics DVD
I watched the beginners Callanetics DVD yesterday, and did some of the exercises. It was good to see various people doing the exercises, the mistakes beginners make being corrected, and some variations for people who are not strong enough to do the full exercise yet.
One of the ladies on the DVD said she had osteoarthritis in her spine and did Callanetics for 1 hour every day. Her doctor told her she would have been bedridden if she hadnít been doing those exercises.
I didnít think it was the best DVD to exercise along to though, so will be using the ď10 years younger in 10 yearsĒ DVD which does mainly the same exercises. Although I think possibly the beginners one has a couple of back exercises that arenít on 10 in 10??? Not sureÖ
Have a great day all!
