Cooper got a good walk this morning before the temperature plummeted, but since then our walks have been short. Our windchill is registering at -30F already, so anything longer would be dangerous for both of us. I think his walk tonight will be outside, to the bottom of the ramp and back inside. I don't want him to get frostbite!

I have a feeling tomorrow's walks are all going to be short. I think I will use the rower to fit in my exercise. Have to keep that fitness streak alive. Keeping track of that streak has helped keep me motivated to move. It has sort of taken on a life of its own. There are days I feel like just sitting all day, and then I think of having to report that I broke my streak and I get up and move. Accountability... even if it is only in my own head... is a wonderful thing.

I walked to get my blood work done today, and made a stop at the library to stock up on reading material for the next couple days. I have plenty of books in my apartment, but sometimes I want something new to read.

You are an inspiration on keeping that streak going even in this extreme weather. I spent the last couple days in the house making excuses why I could take a couple days off and now I feel guilty. I'll do better today. emoticon

-33??? I'm going crazy with our 20's here in Austin LOL. I can't even imagine that kind of cold. Definitely frostbite weather and frozen paw weather, so stay bundled up and exercise indoors!

You're doing great! I hope this cold snap ends soon. It's too cold even for penguins and polar bears.
