I like the cold weather for 2 reasons only!

Monday, January 06, 2014

It was -10 this morning in Missouri, and I hate it. BUT...last night I didn't have to listen to any of the neighborhood dogs barking when I went to bed and that was a plus! I also like it because I feel I can cover up in a lot of clothing, and when Spring comes along I can reveal my new figure as a surprise to family and friends! I have a nice treadmill, step bench dvds, and Just Dance games to keep me moving in the winter so I have no excuses. I have been eating soup for supper and that satisfies me now that it's so cold! There are so many great light soups out there now! I feel blessed to live in an age where most products give you a lighter version. I have been drinking a Slim Fast for breakfast this past week and just that change seems to make a huge difference in how fast I am slimming down! Not only that, but the shakes have 500 mg. of potassium, which I always seem to be deficient on and I seem to feel a lot better during the day. Have a good work week, all!

I love that you will reveal your new figure in the spring. Today I am wearing fleece tights underneath my pants and my thought was "I don't care if I look bigger right now (due to clothes) because when I lose weight, it will seem more dramatic."

Wow! What a great week it seems like you've had! BOO COLD! I like cold if I get snow to play in....

I like your idea for a goal! Just keep at it! I hope I'll be down to at LEAST 160 by spring. And that's a TINY goal. If I could at least be there...I'd be thrilled! It'd be slow, but the right direction. :-)

Keep warm by working out! You can do it!

    -18F in Wisconsin this morning.

Another benefit to the cold, if you have dogs, is when taking them out they do their business quickly. I agree that last night the neighbors dogs did no barking around here either. Good luck with your plan, I'm sure you can win.
