I watched the day 1 video today. The thing that stuck with me was the phrase "fat people eat for pleasure, fit people eat for health." My husband used to say "some people live to eat while others eat to live."
I certainly ate for pleasure. It would be so easy to fall back into that behavior if I wasn't still tracking my food and exercise. I admit there are still some foods that call to me simply for pleasure (also known as trigger foods for me)... and I can't have them in my house and resist for long.
These days I find myself thinking about the fat/carb/protein ratio of my daily intake as well as whether the proportions in any given meal will help me feel satisfied later, too. This is progress.
