I'm sitting here getting ready for work and I realized I didn't have time this morning to get in a good run. Well, I sort of have time, but then I'd be sweaty with ikky makeup/hair and we can't have that, ya know?
So, I guess on Mondays I will have to start making sure to get up extra early (just as light hits) or make it a point to do my pm exercises. I'd like to do am and pm just to cover basis, but we all know how that goes.
Like many others, I'm feeling the post holiday budget stress so groceries are looking a little grim this week. I am going to make it a point to utilize what we have and Pintrest some recipes. Studies have shown January to be the most "depressing" month and money issues are up there with the reasons. Crazy right? ugh.
On the bright side though, I have removed any remnants of Christmas and have pushed forward into 2014. I have replaced the villages on my table with.....a sewing machine! My Kate and I have a pattern for prom and that's a project her and I will work on for the next four months. Hubby thinks we're crazy. Maybe. But, if it doesn't work out we have over 30 other prom dresses in my closet to choose from. LOL
So, anyhow....it's almost the first week into January. Things are settling down. the hype is starting to wear off but that's okay. I am still pressing forward. I've still have goals for the month of January and like many other Sparkies taking baby steps to reach them.
Clean and ORGANIZE the house. I have discovered I really own a lot of useless stuff. And although I want to minimize I don't know if I venture to go as far as to say I'm a minimalist (or becoming one) I'd like to think that, but we'll see. So, this month to keep it baby steps I will sell all of my school text books. I probably have about 50? and I know they are worth money...I will never read them all so why am I hanging on to them? I could use that money towards Ms Kate's dress or...
169....................that fieaking elusive number. I will get it this month. This hanging onto 170.3-173 is redunkulous and will end, hopefully with daily running and Hip Hop Abs.
Eating right: You can out exercise bad nutrition. Period.
