Letting Go

Okay, last year I started off with a plan and goals. Some of those were reached others fell short. I loss 35 pounds, but start this year out with a total of 22 pounds lighter than last year. Of course falling in May and walking around with a broken bone for 10 weeks did not help my journey. What I did learn from all of that is I have a high pain threshold.

It is time to let go of last year and begin this year with my new starting point. I have just pulled clothes out of my closet that I have been hanging on to. The "what if I put my weight back on?" and the answer to that is I am not going to. I worked hard to reach 211.4 for this years starting point.

I will work on my goals and action plan later to post to my blog. Happy New Year to everyone and I wish you a healthy and prosperous year. This is a little late, but I was away from my computer for 2 1/2 weeks.

    There you go, you kept off 22 pounds and that is a plus and you are so right let go of last year and start new.
    Great start to get rid of those old clothes too.

    That is wonderful the achievements you did in 2o13. emoticon Importantly, you didn't give up, even though you had some rough times with a physical injury! emoticon I agree say good bye to those clothes. emoticon I'm doing the same. A few pieces I'm hanging on to, to serve as "reminders" of where I was. The rest I'm clearing out!!! I have 2 bags of clothes by the wash machine and one more upstairs! It'll feel GOOD to have them gone! :D Lets focus on doing the best we can each day...little by little, we are transforming into healthier lifestyles---keep it up! emoticon emoticon

    I will celebrate those 22 pounds, gone forever, with you. That's a positive result and this year, no doubt, you'll have more such accomplishments. emoticon emoticon
