Thank you, I am taking your advice......

Sunday, January 05, 2014

Good morning wonderful people,

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my blog, I really appreciate it, you have all been really kind and made me giggle. Especially one dear friend who said that she is checking on my fitness minutes to see that they have not increased.

Yes I am taking the advice of the majority suggesting to rest, as my body is still aching, head throbbing and I am still coughing. Tomorrow I am back to work so know I have to be much better.

I also know that by listening to my body, once I have recovered, I will be stronger and ready to face all the challenges I have planned. Patience is really the name of the game. I have resigned myself to the fact that little steps are really the best.

Hoping that everyone is getting on with their exercise goals or simply having a day of rest.

WISHING EVERYONE A GREAT WEEK AHEAD

I am encouraging you all, and am on your journeys

Glad you decided to rest until you have your health and strength back, you'll get there soon enough, don't rush it! It made me smile about the SP friend who threatened to check your fitness minutes!

WooHoo! Way to take care of you!!! Some days the best thing isn't to exercise, but to rest. Way to listen to your body and take care of it. Hope you feel better for work Monday. Hugs!

Great!! So glad you're taking it easy and healing up. Tomorrow you'll probably have less flexibility while at work. So enjoy your rest-day, and keep taking it easy till you're recovered. That's a discipline too. Wishing you a good day back to work tomorrow.

Even though you are returning to work tomorrow this does not mean that you will be 110% and ready for some Leslie with a bit of Zumba on the side!! Continue to take it steady and add bits in gradually until you feel fully over it.
Relax this evening and enjoy the last few hours before normality kick in!!

I should have taken the advice I gave you yesterday instead of pushing my walk. (smiling) Hope the rest did you good.

What you are doing is what we aim to do here in SP - to keep a balance between exercise and rest. I struggle too sometimes. I am so glad you get to rest one more day before work tomorrow. Feel better, my friend, and God bless you. emoticon emoticon

I think a major stumbling block for all of us is not listening to our intuitive connection to our bodies. We are all so busy. Our minds are chattering loudly. We often listen to the loudest voice within which isn't the one that has our best interest's in mind.

Another stumbling block is our "rushing into healing". This isn't a race. No one should be judging you. Slow down! Take a deep breath. Calm yourself. It's best not to be in a hurry to go no where.
