Winter Break Begins

Saturday, January 04, 2014

After a full day of grading my students' student teaching practicum I can officially say that winter break has begun! In South Korea the semester usually ends the week before Christmas and the new school year begins in March, giving students and faculty a nice two month break. After such a long and stressful semester I can't believe the break is actually here now, and look forward to focusing on my food and weight loss goals. I had all these crazy plans to travel all around Asia during this break, seeing a bunch of different countries, etc. but now I can't think of a better plan than hanging out in Seoul and getting into the habit of exercising daily, eating healthily, praying regularly, and working towards losing 10% of my body weight. How much better would I feel about myself starting the new school year off like that? And how much better would I feel later, when I do actually travel, having less weight to carry around?

Looking forward to tracking my progress with The Daniel Plan team! Here's to a new beginning!
