Being sick over Christmas...

Saturday, January 04, 2014

I got the flu Christmas day... totally sucks. Still not quite over it, but starting to feel better. Good thing, too. Supposed to go back to work on Tuesday.
Started T3 on December 15. Should have been feeling more changes, but I feel that the flu has definitely dampened those. I have noticed less body aches, so that much is nice! Now if the energy levels will just fall in line, we'll be laughing!

Vow to myself - Spark more consistently in 2014. Between the new meds, my fitbit, Spark and WW, this should be a piece of cake - as soon as I lose the flu! LOL

    Oh. My. God.

I can so relate. Christmas dinner here is always on Christmas Eve. Both my daughter-in-law and I were laid low with the stomach / intestinal variety of the flu on Monday the 23rd. She was well enough to be good company by Christmas Eve. I was still sore and barely able to stay awake. I was well enough to get to Midnight Mass and I was in great shape on Christmas Day. But she and my son and grandson hit the road for NYC to see her folks. Yep, both adults were ill on the Jersey Turnpike.

I think we are all better now.
