I'm feeling so blah this morning.

I couldn't sleep last night. It was about 2am before I fell asleep.

So now I'm sitting here. Groggy. But I've had my fruit and I have my water beside me for breakfast.

I started my car today - it's brutally cold outside. I guess I need to go and get some groceries today. At least my car started. Now to round up my recipes so I know what to get. I am trying a couple of new salad recipes here right away. Some with edamame. I have some in the freezer, so why not.

I have already milled some Millet flour, so I'm ready to make another loaf of bread. I messed up the last loaf - apparently my millet flour was mixed in with some potato flour. Anyhow, the bread turned out, but not that great. lol

So time to try again.

I also have my sourdough starter going. I added some kiefer this morning. I could not find water kiefer, so I used some dairy. I sure hope it works. I'm planning on putting the bread together tonight. I'm also going to order water keifer online today. lol

Anyhow, on to today's plan

Water - I'm already working on my first litre - 4 cups. I am worried today might be a tough day to get it all in. All I want is to go for breakfast - coffee and eggs. I need to drink this water before I go for groceries. That way I can have a coffee and not feel guilty.

Food - I'm trying. I ate my fruit this morning so far. The plan is to have a nice salad with supper. I would say I'm going to have one for lunch too, but I'm thinking that won't likely work. I'm more likely to go for eggs and coffee when I go for groceries.

Fitness - uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh
Yeah. I know. I need to do something. I just can't get my head around it yet. I will.

So far I've been eating well, drinking my water, and trying to move. The scale is down already. It'll go better once I get moving, but I seem to have a couch tied to my butt. lol

Time to go. I've got lots I want to get done before lunch.

What are your plans to stay on track today?

When it's cold outside it can be so hard to get motivated. Maybe instead of a salad you could make a soup? Same veggies but warmer. I know I can barely stand salad when it's cold outside.

    Stay warm.

My plans are to eat healthy, not go above my calorie limit, to get in the appropriate amount of macronutrients, drink all my water, and exercise. Sounds like a plan! I see in your picture you use the Body Media, me too! emoticon

It always helps to try new recipes and salads and things. I love edamame! Today I am just sticking to the January Jumpstart challenge. I hear you on the water factor though. That is also a goal I am trying to keep track of this month. Sounds like you are off to a great start this January!

I wouldn't exactly say your butt is tied to the couch!! I have been paying attention to how much work you put into the kitchen! Maybe not a workout... but better than lazy! :)

    I went to zumba!
After 3 weeks it was hard, especially that it's pretty cold here too,I did not really want to go out, but I'm glad I did.
Food is good for now, I'm back in control and feeling good.....hope it lasts.

Keep up the good work! emoticon emoticon

Sounds like you're off to a good start!! Don't feel guilty over that coffee. Chances are there are no calories in it unless you add cream & sugar. And it's okay if you do, just remember, moderation is the key! ONE egg is fine along with the fruit you've already had. There's no need to cut yourself off from the food you love. Just continue to add the fruits & veggies and take it easy on the cream & sugar. Again, Moderation Is The Key! Keep up your good work, and lets both get up and move!!
