My goals for 2014 are quite simple. That being said...they always seem hard to maintain. But here I am again, trying to lose the weight. So far I seem to be on the right path. I am glad I started on here again as I definitely need the support.
My #1 goal is obviously to lose weight. The 'whys' are different now than in the past. My blood pressure is high, so obviously health is the #1 reason as to why I want to lose weight. But with the weight loss comes more energy, more self esteem and more years to enjoy my grandchildren.
I also want to start exercising more. But exercising to me is probably quite different than other people's opinion of it. I just want to move more, walk more, dance more, enjoy life more.
Lastly, I want to eat healthier. I like my wine and love my food. But have always had a hard time doing anything in moderation. I am at a time in my life, that I am going to try to do everything in moderation. One glass of wine instead of three. One portion of food, instead of two.
These are my goals for 2014...I have been on this journey many times. This time, I am hoping to not lose the weight by a certain date, but I'm just going to go with the flow, moderation, healthy eating, and moving and along with that will come weight loss.
