New year and another try. I am trying the Good Belly Challenge to try to get rid of the IBS at least enough to be able to do things. I am also trying to walk Cassie, but it is getting hard because it keeps getting so cold out and I can't handle the cold. The other thing is I am trying to get some things cleaned up around here, so a half hour working on that.

Today I did take Cassie for a walk. She gets so excited that she will pull me all over the place. I don't think she had any training in obedience before I got her. I can get her to do sit and down here at home, but away from here there is no way. I finally started working with her on "heel" and got her closer to me, but she refused to sit when I told her to. I have to find a way to get her to stay with me and pay attention to me when we go walking. Treats aren't doing that much good.

Darlene, Good luck with your stomach problems I know how that can feel and I know how hard it can be with a pooch that has a mind of it's own, I have one of those, too.
Good Luck all around, my friend

hugs,
Danlin

try a gentle leader, it prevents the dog from pulling and helps teach them to heel.
