Went for my mammogram yesterday. All's clear! Everything looks normal, although the radiologist did recommend that I get regular yearly mammograms given my family history.

    That's wonderful news. Did they say what the lumps are/could be? Perhaps a lipoma (a growth of fat cells) or infected mammary glands? Hopefully whatever they are, it's easily taken care of.

    Great news!! Once a year isn't so different from what they used to recommend. I always have mine in October, which is breast cancer screening month - our hospital gives away shopping bags in October. Weird...

my friend in TX schedules hers the same day as a co-worker and they go together every year. I thought that sounded like a great idea!
