Funny. I realized I will often make a soup similar to this to have when I'm not feeling very hungry at meal time. I've even had it for breakfast! I don't use a recipe, though. I tend to have broth on hand that I've made from the bones of the most recent roasted chicken I've bought, but I also keep a lookout for discounted commercial chicken and vegetarian broths for my pantry. Then I add the veggies and whatever herbs/flavorings seem appropriate. A common combination for me is yeast powder (an ingredient in most bullion cubes) and a Mexican spice blend called Taijin. Five minutes!

Thanks for sharing this recipe. I've been looking for something cleansing for those times when my inflammation is through the roof!
