Trust's a big deal!

emoticon LOL... This is just an addition to my previous blog. I am the WORST person, when it comes to actually going to the doctor, and the ABSOLUTE WORST when it comes to follow-through of the results.

emoticon I've got 4 more appointments on the books, to make sure I've got a clean bill of health, AND I'm actually following through with referrals, and physical therapy, which I NEVER*** do.

emoticon SO THIS IS BIG FOR ME! And proves that I can turn over the leaf of my old ways, and make some changes for the good of my own health.

emoticon I'm getting psyched! I want to FEEL GOOD for once. I'm ready to do this! And I'm GOING TO DO IT!

emoticon Not to be disrespectful, but I see sparkers on here that are in their 70's+, and STILL dieting. I don't want to be dieting all my freaking life. I want to get to a point where I've obtained my goals, and my "new way of life" keeps me at goal without me even thinking about it. I don't want to have to constantly think about my weight until the day I die.

I want to get there, and stay there...period. emoticon

Good for you June! You're taking care of business! I feel ya with the doctor appointments. I have been going to the chiropractor and I need to make an appointment with the dentist to have a an old filling replaced. We are worth the trouble though and we just have to get it DONE!

I think you just have to put the issue in the right frame. I agree, I don't like obsessing over my weight and health. I just want it!

But, you and I probably need to face facts, we NEED to be mindful. When we aren't, bad things happen!

So, as much as I hate to admit it, those dapper elderly people may be proof that constant vigilance is the solution. I just hope we can find a happy medium, so it doesn't rule our lives, which is the point I think you were trying to make.

We used up all of our easy days when we were kids with race horse metabolisms! Time to get to work!
