I'm back! I swear for real this time! After moving and getting a new job a little over a year ago (November 26th was my 1 year work anniversary actually) my life is finally settling down...at least a little.
First, a little about what I learned on my year respite from living the healthy and sparktastic way:
1. Making new friends and the going out associated with that is a huge challenge to living healthy
2. There will never be enough time, it's about priorities
3. It doesn't take much time to get extremely out of shape.
Like seriously out of shape. I've had more than a little bit of time...I'm basically a blob of out of breath nonsense trying to work out now.
And now onto the Wellness Challenge!!!
My mom, sisters and I have all decided to team up and do a three month challenge, with a group reward at the end. We each have our own goals to meet in this short time period. Mine are kind of lofty but I can do it with the help of Spark!
By April 1, I will:
-- Be working out consistently: Minimum of 3 1-hour sessions a week; 10 minutes a day minimum
-- Lose 15 lbs
-- Be able to fit into my jeans without losing circulation and wanting to cry
So that's what I'm up against! In addition I have a bunch of NY goals. I'd like to start a regular cleaning regimen and organize my apartment and actually keep it organized amongst other things.
Let's go get it! Bring on 2014!
