Happy New Year! I love New Year's~ it reminds me of the new beginnings and fresh starts that God gives us every day! Kind of like a "do-over" ;-) When the boys were little and were acting up, we'd tell them to push their "do-over" button (they usually pushed on their foreheads, lol) and it was amazing that it really did work. They started acting more obedient. I'm sure God feels the same way about us! He doesn't want us to live in sin or be disobedient or on the wrong path, He is waiting for us to push that "do-over" button and get back on track.
I've been making a list of goals that I have for 2014, and brainstorming ways to reach those goals. I've got some physical goals (run 1/2 marathon in April and Oct, continue to "clean up" my eating, continue my daily workouts, etc), spiritual (continue reading the Word daily, allow myself to be challenged by His Word, read at least 2 Christian books/month), financial (debt reduction), career (continue to research programs for being a health coach- not sure if it's something that I can just use the degree I have- BSN, or if I need another complete program), family (be fully present, weekly family night), household (decluttering, fix up some things around the house, etc).
I have a feeling of excitement about this coming year, like something BIG is going to happen, something GREAT.
