Happy New Year

Wednesday, January 01, 2014

Yesterday I had my 3 month follow up with my Dr. My diabetes is challenging at this time and I will be seeing a woman to help me here. All other tests were in really normal range. I'm being diagnosed with hip bursitis. I can tell you this is pretty painful. We're going to start me on Physical Therapy for that and see how it goes. I also took an Ibuprofen when i got home and it really helped.

“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.”

― Brian Tracy

I woke this morning with a terrific frame of mind and positive outlook on this day/new year.It was dark. I was feeling my way into the bathroom and smack right into the bookshelf stubbing my left foot toes and i cut up my left arm getting it all bloody. there's my biger achievement. Bigger toes now.

Happy new Year!

DEBS.ALWAYS PUT SLIPPERS SHOES OR ANY FOOT COVER OVER YOUR FEET AND TOES ALWAYS.
I LIVED WHERE THERE WAS NO GRASS, JUST CONCRETE SIDEWALKS AND LOTS OF LITTER. IN THE US TOO MANY PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR FEET.

THEY ARE THE ONLY THINGS TO USE TO WALK, RUN, STAND UP AND SIT DOWN AND A WHOLE HOST OF THINGS.

I HAVE 2 PAIRS OF SLIPPERS WITH ZIPPERS AND ONE IS AT THE BACK DOOR. SHOES OFF SLIPPERS ON.
THE OTHER PAIR I LEAVE AT THE SIDE OF MY BED AND I ALWAYS KNOW WHERE THEY ARE EVEN IN THE DARK.

IT IS WORTH IT TO AVOID THE PAIN IN THE FEET AND AS WE ALL KNOW ESPECIALLY FOR DIABETICS AND CHILDREN.
I HOPE YOU ARE HEALING WELL, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!!!

Ouch! Sorry about the toes - that stubbing toe thing is something with which Im all too familiar. One of my New Year's Goals is to remove obstacles - and that includes physical obstacles that my toes seem to instinctively find.
