So, I had an essay written and Spark ate it.
Here I am, 2 years after deciding to lose weight. I lost 22 kg, and have gained back 2. Not bad, but I'm looking forward to getting those 2kg off in the next couple of months.
My eating has been awful this month. I've had countless morning teas, my birthday, and Christmas
I also took a second job in retail. I have worked most of December! Retail at Christmas is manic and, while I always had a healthy breakfast and morning snack, the afternoons were so busy that I often wouldn't get a break and would find myself munching on whatever was handy and it wasn't exactly healthy!
My work hours have also clashed with my gyms holiday hours. I was able to workout as normal until the 23rd but since then I've only been able to get to the gym twice. Running is out of the question because it is A. Too damn hot, and B. I don't want to run after being on my feet all day.
The above are both temporary road blocks, but they have had an effect on my waistline!
Luckily this will stabilise next week. We move to Wellington on Monday, arrive Tuesday, unpack Wednesday, gym membership appointment on Thursday. I want to get back into my routine, pronto! My new gym has some awesome classes that I want to try, and I'll be able to get back into running soon since it is cooler in Wellington. Those 2 kilos won't stand a chance once I am back at the gym 5 days a week!
