On the Dawn of a New Year

I have noticed about myself that I have a obsessive compulsive streak in me. Now all I need to do is apply that streak to learning how to eat healthier and excising more. I accomplished getting a college degree and maintained a 3.7 or higher the whole time. No small feat at my age if you ask me. I think I only got a B three times the rest were all As, so I see no reason I cannot lose weight.

I have also noticed about myself that I am a compulsive over eater. I eat when stressed, mad, sad, or sometimes for no reason at all. Very seldom is the reason I overeat hungry. I can eat till it hurts. I knew to condition myself to learn portion control and moderation.

I have a few advents that I hope will encourage me to lose weight in 2014.

1. Healthier me. I plan on being around to see all my grandchildren get married and the youngest is 6 so that could be a while.

2. Healthier me. Not to be a burden on my child because of poor health.

3. Camping trip to Jelly Stone in July I don't want my grandchildren ashamed of their grandmother because of the weight. I want to be able to play with them and not be ashamed to put on a swimsuit.

4. Alaskan cruise my friend and I are saving to go on an Alaskan cruise in July of 2015 and I want to look and feel my best.

OK enough for today. Now on to those goals
