Today is the last day of 2013. Looking ahead to 2014 - I am setting some goals to support positive lifestyle changes - resolutions come and go in my mind.
Physical - Run 1/2 marathon on Mother's Day. To accomplish this I will:
Run 3 times a week or more for a total of 12 miles
Strength train 2 times a week
Yoga or pilates 2 times a week
Financial - Continue to save for retirement. To accomplish this I will:
Increase my 401K by whatever raise I get this year
Starting June - contribute minimum amount to my IRA
Health - Cut out as much sugar as possible. To accomplish this I will:
Cook as many meals as possible at home.
Spiritual - Live in the present and focus on the good things in life. To accomplish this I will:
Read 15 minutes of positive and inspiring reading every morning
List 3 things I am grateful for every day
Jar for each family member of things I admire or appreciate about them.
I think 2014 is going to be a really good year!
