Is it a coincidence ....

.... That I decide overnight to make one of my goals in 2014 to walk more, and in my Step 2 of my start page is this article picked for me:

www.sparkpeople.com/reso
urce/fitness_articles.asp?
id=1199

It's an article on the benefits of walking.

So I had decided that I would still do my regular cardio in the morning, and just add a light evening walk after dinner. It doesn't have to be brisk, or make me huff and puff - this walk is for mental and digestive benefits.

I like this goal - anybody want to join me?

    I'll join you. I just started reading Dr. Oz's book You on a Diet and he suggests taking a 30 minute walk everyday. You know us Texans don't really like cold weather, so I'm gritting my teeth and using the treadmill :-)

    Great goal! I've been walking a lot this year (made it a weekly habit to walk to work a couple of times a week, depending on my gym/lifting schedule!) and I love it! emoticon

    Nope, no coincidence - I'd take it as a message from the Great Beyond! emoticon

I'm walking a lot more too, although not on as regular a basis as I'd like - I'd be happy to join you for the new year.
